BIO

Erik Braun is an economic analyst and researcher. He is an assistant research fellow at the Center for Economic and Regional Research, Institute for Regional Studies, and at the University of Pécs, Faculty of Business and Economics (EconNet research group).

His main field of research is the study of domestic and global value chains using network theory methods. He also writes his dissertation on this topic. His research focuses on exploring the structure of trade relations between countries and understanding the impact of structural features on the economy. Furthermore, he also examines the structure of scientific cooperation networks and their role in innovation processes.
